これまで2019年・2021年には日本唯一のPGAツアー「ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP」が開催され、タイガー・ウッズ選手（2019年）・松山英樹選手（2021年）が優勝を飾った。またタイガー・ウッズ選手（2019年）の同ツアー勝利数最多タイ記録82勝目達成の舞台となった。キングコースは距離も長く、アスリート向きのコースとなっている。クイーンコースはフラットなコースの中に池が多く配置されており、美しい景観となっている為、老若男女問わず楽しめるコースとなっている。キング・クイーンコースともに数々のトーナメントで使用され、世界水準のコース設計である。過去にはサントリーオープンや日本オープンゴルフ選手権、日本シニアオープンゴルフ選手権など多くのトーナメントを開催。最寄り駅の千葉ニュータウン中央駅（北総鉄道）は都心から約60分、駅からゴルフ場まではクラブバスで約10分と電車でのアクセスも良い。
